Ok, first off let me say that the product is 100% accurate in description. However, the product is not impressive in person to say the least. The photos do worlds of justice. I do not want to slam the manufacturer, or Amazon here but just give viewers a taste of my experience. These earrings are really poor products. I was very dissatisfied and sent them immediately back. First of all, lets face it, the probability of the earth making pure black diamonds is probably unlikely. Impurities in carbon are not capable of making pure solid black color perfect gem quality stones at these prices. it looks to me (and I'm no expert) that these are really poor quality diamonds. Poor cut, poor color, and poor clarity. With some process to add an even black color giving these stones a novelty. Which in my opinion is all that they are. My girlfriend is on this "black diamond" kick. So I'm going to elect to purchase something locally where at least I can inspect the quality and look of these novel items. Buying this type of product sight unseen is just not an option with such an inconsistent quality. Again, no fault of the seller, or Amazon, just a hazard of the type of product. Your money is better spent with significantly more value and "bang for the buck" in this particular case, buying locally. This product is definitely a "PASS!" Good Luck!After watching the reviews here I'm making an addition to my post... I would be willing to bet that most if not ALL the positive reviews posted for this product are from a vendor or manufacturer. It's easy to make a user profile and leave one of these comments. Really, Stay Away from this product. You'll be glad you did.

Not even as good as $10.00 costume earings

These are suppose to be flawed low rated diamonds colored black to hide flaws. They are cheap, very small, I bought high quality 1/2 carat earings that are quite a bit larger. Most disturbing is you can see flaws with the naked eye, and they are very dull and have no shine or glow to them. Worth about $5.00. DO NOT BUY.

The backs would not stay on and the earrings would fall out. I sent the product back. Would not reccomend to anyone.
